We can support your cycling holiday in Brittany and Normandy with cycle or tandem rental/hire

We pride ourselves on supplying quality, well maintained bikes including mountain bikes, touring/hybrid bikes, child bikes and tandems. Child seats, tag-alongs and buggies are also available for attaching to adult bikes. We can cater for all the cycling needs of the family, with bikes and equipment suitable for all ages from 6 months upwards.

When you hire a bike from us, we can also provide helmets, bidons (drink bottles), puncture repair kits, tyre inflators, and padlocks at no extra cost.

Lightweight tents can be hired from us to carry on your bikes if you would like the option of camping.

Maps of the region can also be hired from us, which have been published specifically for the use of cyclists. (IGN Scale 1:100000).

There are several long distance off-road cycle tracks in the region which have been converted from disused railway lines, known as 'voies vertes' in French, offering a network of traffic-free and easy cycling for all the family.

Also nearby is Fougeres Forest, where there are excellent waymarked routes for mountain bikers within this beautiful and historic deciduous woodland, covering an area of 1600 hectares (3950 acres).

There is also a waymarked route designed for cyclists which follows the towpath of the Ille-et-Rance canal from Rennes to Treverien. This ride can be extended beyond Treverien via the beautiful mediaeval town of Dinan to the coast at Dinard and Saint-Malo.

BIKES

We supply a range of good quality bicycles and equipment designed specifically for touring and leisure use. They are all well equiped and fitted with Shimano 21 speed gears. Please contact us for full specifications and photographs.

TANDEM HIRE - GIVE IT A TRY!

Whether you are planning on buying your first tandem or just fancy a go on one, we can teach you the basics of riding a tandem safely, from starting off to stopping correctly. This way you will get the most out of the experience and will be riding like experts in no time. As tandem riders ourselves, we can also advise you on such things as what features to look for when buying a bike, ongoing care and maintenance, and information on tandem groups and resources.

Hire a tandem from us and come and experience the enjoyment of cycling on a 'bicycle made for two', either for a short break or longer. We can help you to choose and book your accommodation, and then deliver the bike to you.

BIKE DELIVERY

We do not charge for delivery within a 25km (15 mile) radius of St Georges de Reintembault. Beyond this zone we charge 1€ per km.

Whatever type of accommodation you are staying in, be it an hotel, gîte, chambre d'hôte or campsite, we can deliver your bike to your door and then collect it at the end of your stay. If you would like to reserve your bike in advance, prior to your arrival, this can be arranged subject to the payment of a non-refundable deposit.

We can also deliver to one point, for example the start of your ride, and then collect it from either the same place or from a different place when you have completed your ride. We also offer a delivery and collection service to local railway stations, Dinard and Rennes airports, and St Malo ferry terminal.

• For the independent cyclist doing your own tour of the area, we can provide a bike repair/maintenance service, including a mobile roadside repair option.

TARIFF 2012 - Bike hire is available from 1st April, 2012 to 31st October, 2012.

However, we can be contacted all year with enquiries or requests for information.
