TRAVELLING TO THE REGION

The region benefits from excellent transport links, with the A84 autoroute (non-toll) bringing the area within a 1 hour 30 minute drive of the Normandy Channel coast. There are airports at Dinard and Rennes, high speed train services (TGV) from Paris, regional train services from Caen and Cherbourg and ferry ports serving the UK and Ireland.

The most convenient ferry ports are situated at:

• St Malo - Brittany Ferries (www.brittanyferries.com) from Portsmouth and Condor Ferries (www.condorferries.com) from Weymouth, Poole, Jersey and Guernsey
• Caen (Ouistreham) - Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth
• Cherbourg - Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth and Poole, Irish Ferries (www.irishferries.com) from Rosslare and Celtic Link Ferries (www.celticlinkferries.com) from Portsmouth and Rosslare
• Le Havre - LD Lines (www.ldlines.com) from Portsmouth

Access by rail:
